My sweet Trenten the 13 year old 6 foot tall video game geek gets dropped off at the band room door every morning, all the guys hang out in the band room with the teacher cause he’s the coolest! As he walks up to the door he does the same thing every morning, he gets to the door stops and turns around and waves bye to me, even if there are other kids standing there.. I just adore the kid!

I guess I will tell more of the story now that I have calmed down a bit… her rent was not paid she thought she was making a point by staying to use up her deposit because the place was badly infested with bed bugs and they were loosening there high dollar beds over it… the way it works in Colorado is 30 days after you don’t pay your rent to get a note on your door from the police… well she never got one.. We believe the manger took it knowing the kind of things she had in her appt. she had choose to live in the inner city with bums and homeless people on every corner..
So we are hoping their things that the manger did not get will help these people in some way.
It does make your skin crawl a bit thinking of people pawing through everything including you dirty laundry..

My kids are very strong and yes she will bounce back stronger then ever… she was raised “What does not kill us only makes us stronger!”

Well I learned some valuable info today.. People will even take your tooth brush given the chance..

My daughter who was staying till the last min in her bed bug infested apartment thought she had till 12:00 tonight.. WRONG we left to go get more boxes and while we were not there they came and moved ALL of there belongs to the sidewalk zoes new sewing machine, computer and every stitch of clothes they owned shoes EVERYthing! By time we got there it was all gone! Even there toiletries.. All there meds supposable were flushed (my ass) ADHD meds (speed), valium, her pain meds for her back, antidepressants I’m sure are being sold as I type ..

It was one of the most heart braking things to see my daughter and grandchild standing there like a deer in the headlights.. They now have nothing… so starting fresh for the new year means starting completely over down to there underwear..

Maybe 6 of you could do this also? I have know clue how to find people to do it..

Well let’s see 6 things about me that everyone might not know…

1. I have lived in the same house for 35 years, all of my kids, grandkid and niece came home from the hospital to this house..

2. I have a huge collection of self-help books, DVD’s and audio books..

3. I light candles and burn incense for everything, my family & friends call me up when something is wrong and ask me to for them also..

4. I think Author and Celeb chef Anthony Bourdain is as about as beautiful as any guy can get!

5. I still listen to music on vinyl and have way over 500 Lp’s including almost every Beatles album released in the US

6. Signing up on Etsy and joining BBEST has been an awesome thing in my life. I have made amazing friends and gained the confidence in my work that I needed to put myself out there and not worry if I was good enough..

A Potter Plays with Paper..

So I took the journal making class, we have gotten 2 of the 5 lessons and I have not even started the second one. I don’t care for the size but when I do make that one I’m thinking I will do it like a notebook that will hold my colored loose-leaf paper…

The first one I did make went well I think, I didn’t do the satin stitching around the outside. I decided I would use fluffy black yarn. It shows less that I have know clue with sewing…

This whole experience has been very interesting, I have learned a lot of things that I would have never thought about in the pottery world..

Will I make more? Not sure on that one. I did want to make them for several people for Christmas but it’s a bit stressful and I have spent 20 times more then I thought I would..

I now have a lot of neat sewing tools & a boatload of fancy papers so guess I will be doing my glorified scrap booking whether I want to or not..

The buttons for journal class

I have been making buttons with porcelain and Raku firing them for the journal class.

While I’m doing this I keep thinking ok I make a button & build the journal from that place in my mind.

The ones I have seen in the yahoo albums look awesome!

I wonder how other people come up with how there’s will look?

PayPal Fairy bait Jars

These are my PPF bait jars, they are one of my favorite things to make!
Some of the people on the EAST - EarthPath Artisans Street Team were making all kinds of really fun things for paypal fairy bait and this was what I came up with..

I love crystals and they are something I have LOTs of so it came together well I think..These jars are really hard to part with for me and particularly the ones that have crystals from my very personal stash. They are much more personal then a lot of the other pieces I make..

I hope the people that get them love the as much as I do!!!

Thought I should add these 3 PPF jars have all found homes! How awesome it that!!!!!

Well I have been throwing the type of clay I learned with and it has been going well!
I Have been getting some large pieces. There was a 14 cup bowl that I liked very much that has found a new home already..

Also made a large triple moon mug for myself, this is one of the first pieces I have made for myself ever, that I kept anyway…

This is a piece of wheel thrown porcelain that was raku fired.
I absolutely love the way this looks but do to the raku firing process its very hard to not loose the pieces to thermal shock..

You’re in California for god knows how long.
You have only been gone 3 days and we have talked on the phone twice but only for a moment…. Almost every day for over 3 years you have told me it’s all going to be ok…
Now I have to tell myself, maybe its all part of the every thing happens for a reason to make me be strong with out you…
The other things that are happening all seam to be a part of this wired thing that is going on to show me what I need to do and that I can do it!!!

This will be the first Christmas or Christmas Eve in 15 years that I will not get to see you for at least a min… your ornament is on the tree where it has always hung so I can see it every time I walk past.
I told him today the tree is staying up till you come back and we are going to have another Christmas then… I don’t think he liked it but he knows I have to do what I have to do when it comes to you…

I didn’t where shoes to school most of 7th and 8th grade when they found out in 9th grade they kicked me for it.. I was done anyway……
I have 12 tattoos got the first one when I was thirteen
I spent the summer in Alaska when I was 11 living in a small camper with my grandparents and my sister.
I love pets I have 2 macaws 1 sun conure 1 cockatiel 1 bearded dragon and a big dog!!!
my first year selling AVON I made presidents club which means I sold 10,100 worth of products in less then a year. Been selling it for 2 years and have not broke even once!
I once bought a 50 dollar lip gloss (I know most people would not find that interesting, but its really nice lip gloss)
I’m going to be looking for a job after Christmas so I can change my life by spring…
my pottery wheel was in my kitchen for 10 years till someone came along and thought it didn’t need to be there anymore.
I can macramé, makes candles, dip incense, throw pots and have done some silver-smithing
